Compress and resize images
Shrink photos for email, websites and upload forms. Pick a size and quality, compare before and after, and download.
Free to start · No card needed · Files never leave your device
Resize first, then compress
A phone photo is usually 4000 pixels wide. Most websites show it at 1200 to 2000. Setting a max width removes pixels nobody sees, which saves far more than lowering quality alone.
Metadata goes too
Every image is redrawn, so GPS location, camera details and editing history are stripped as part of the compression.

Questions
How much smaller will my image get?+
A phone photo saved as JPG at 80% quality is often 60 to 80% smaller and looks the same on screen. Resizing to the size you actually need saves even more. You see the exact before and after size before you download.
How do I compress an image to 100 KB?+
Type 100 in the target file size box. The tool tries different quality levels and keeps the best one that fits. If it still can't get under 100 KB, set a smaller max width as well.
Should I pick JPG, WebP or PNG?+
JPG for photos that need to open everywhere. WebP for websites, as it's usually smaller than JPG at the same quality. PNG for screenshots, logos and anything with transparency, but it's lossless so files stay bigger.
Is metadata removed?+
Yes, always. The image is redrawn from its pixels, so GPS, camera and editing details are left behind.
Are my files uploaded?+
No. The tool runs inside your browser tab and reads the file from your device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, which is also why it works quickly on big files.
Is it free?+
Yes. Free covers 5 files a day up to 30 MB each, one at a time. Pro is $7 a month and removes the daily limit and the size cap, and lets you drop in whole batches.
